One West Point cadet was killed and 22 others were injured when their vehicle overturned
It's not how old you are, it's how you got here.
It's been a long road and not all of it was paved.
. If you ain't havin' fun, it's your own damn fault

Must have been one of those cattle trucks used to transfer Infantry. It seems a bit strange that they would have had a cadet driving a transport truck, that would be something visiting Army units for the summer would have been doing. Usually for the past 60 years each summer units from an Airborne Division would go TDY for the summer to help and do these same types of jobs. I was there in 66 while in the 101st and we were teaching Infantry and the 320th field artillery of the 101st came with us. I lucked out and got temp assigned to the artillery and lived in a nice barracks on Main Post over the Provost Marshals building. I often wonder how many of us that were there that summer are still around, most went to Vietnam the next year.
