    No, but I've read a lot of feminist criticism of him.

    What sucks is that he was right about one or two big things-the power of the subconscious mind. Psychology didn't really recognize that before Freud. He was also kind of right about the Oedipus complex.

    Freud was not inventor of subconscious mind concept. A French psychologist was. There were a lot of ideas floating around the Vienna milieu for which Freud took credit. Sexual attraction within the family circle was also nothing new as a reality or a concept. Freud just marketed it properly with a classical name. His nephew Edward Bernays knew a thing or two about propaganda as well.
