A lot of programs that I use or used on my home laptop allowed me to do work at home. Now I have to tote my work laptop home to do it. It's XP and some won't work with Vista.

my problem with vista is the same one I had with xp. I'm not a retard. I do not need windows to hide system folders and otherwise retard proof my system from me thanks.

Oh well I agree with FlaGator. I've been using Vista for quite some time
and have no beef with it. XP is also good.

I kick myself. On Black Friday, ebay had a 10% off coupon, on top of Live Search had a good cash back offer of 30% when your Live initiated search, landed you at eBay with a buy it now purchase.
I eneded up buying a very nice, new Eden Pure Space Heater (Paul Harvey loves them:D) and saved $149. I should of went ahead and purchased a new laptop at the same time. Most of them that I looked at, with the discounts, would of brought them down to about $400.
