Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is now claiming that the flash flooding in DC today is only happening because….you guessed it, Climate Change:

Sheesh, everything is an excuse for Climate Change with leftists like AOC.

If the streets flood in South Florida, or apparently DC, CLIMATE CHANGE! If there’s a tornado in Tornado Valley, CLIMATE CHANGE!

Yes, you stupid twunt. The climate changes. Everyday. It's called weather. It's what it does. I challenge you to alter the force of nature.

11 oclock here in the deep south and it's hot as hell, I still have both air conditioners on high and that is very unusual for me. I normally have this small bedroom air on low all night but I had to turn the front big air back on it is so hot. I need some of that climate change here to cool us off, my dog demands it !

I went to Baton Rouge this morning and had an injection into my lower back and it raises your temperature a little and flushes your face and some people actually get flushed in the chest from the procedure, but I seem to be doing well and I have had no problems not even a burning or inflammation like the first one in my neck last year. My back pain is clear now and I hope it stays like this for a while. It is only temporary from what I can understand reading up on the probabilities of these injections, they seem to affect some people but then a lot of people have no pain tolerance at all. Not saying it was painful but some people would ask for a sedation before the procedure, I don't find it necessary nor feel any extra pain. I will sleep well tonight and sure wish an errant cloud would come thru and just rain like hell for about two hours, the ground would soak it up immediately. On the way to the clinic I saw a lot of young healthy looking sugar cane so the Baton Rouge area must be getting a lot more rain than I am 36 miles away

Hope you get an extended period of pain relief from that injection. I've been going to the physical therapy run by the brain and spine specialists at our local hospital. They specialize primarily on the spine. It seems to be helping somewhat. I'm trying to avoid those shots and the pain docs. The regular physical therapists didn't help all that much.

Do you find that the pain isn't as bad in the hot weather? It's the winter cold here in St Louis that really triggers the back pain. Maybe this past winter was just a tough time to return to the north full time. Brrrr it was cold.

We had some pretty bad flash flooding over the weekend. Although my area was specifically warned about it, we didn't have any issues. After the 2014 floods, our mayor put in a bunch of new rain sewers and created a run-off pond. I guess it worked.

Lake St. Clair is flooding, as is Lake Erie. My sister said Lake Michigan's level is also high, but the coast line there is different than over here, so it's mostly eradicated beach space and not roads and basements. Yet.

To be honest, this is exactly what was predicted with global warming/climate change theory-that the Great Lakes would first shrink to all-time lows, and then rise to new highs after the ice cap starts melting. It might help get rid of the pests like zebra mussels, lamphrey eels, and those Asian carp if the water levels are higher, as the temperature in the lakes could drop to a level that can't support non-native species.
