My mom went to Coolidge Elementary School and Taft Junior High in Detroit (both are gone, now). There is an Eisenhower High School in Utica, MI. A Truman and a JFK high school in Taylor, MI. There's a JFK elementary school in Center Line. There's even a high school in Livonia named for Adalai Stevenson. LOL.

I don't think there is a school in Michigan named after our only President (Gerald Ford). A freeway, an airport, the library at UM and the field house at GRCC, and his Presidential museum, but that's it.

Pete is correct. In English, the superlative is reserved for comparisons of three or more. Therefore, you have an older daughter, not an oldest daughter.
Olde-style, states' rights conservative. Ask if this concept confuses you.

Since Iím married to a masters degreed English major, Iíll take her word for it. Either is correct and acceptable.
It's not how old you are, it's how you got here.

In Oklahoma it would be more older.

what I don't get is why just the younger daughter is included, not the other kid or the wife. I guess it's to be cutesy and this is some street in Rapid City of all the former presidents but I thought this particular statue kind of sucked.
