    Evangelicals: Blaspheme against the Holy Spirit and eternal damnation?

    I am not religious and I am not an expert on the bible. I have known evangelicals are hypocrites for a long time. I know they are hypocrites for supporting a sinner, liar, criminal like Trump. I decided to do a little research to see what the bible says about what the evangelicals are doing. On its face it looked like to me they are committing a big sin by supporting Trump.

    It is very clear in the bible that God and Jesus don't like liars. The Holy Spirit is called the Spirit of Truth. Committing Blaspheme against the Holy Spirit can be an unforgivable sin, eternal damnation.

    Evangelicals are knowingly supporting Trump, a liar, a sinner, in the name of Jesus. You have to become a liar to support someone you know is a liar. They know what they are doing goes against the word of Jesus, however they justify what they are doing in the name Jesus. Jesus understands what we are doing, this is what he would want us to do.

    Like I said, I am not religious, I am not an expert on the bible, I may be wrong. It looks like to me the evangelicals are committing blaspheme against God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
    What idiots. Evangelical Christians can vote for whom ever they want to just like heathen God haters of the Democrat Party. EVERYONE sins. If Christians could not vote for someone who sinned they wouldn't be able to vote for anyone. Which of course is what the Jack*ses want, because most do not vote for Democrats with their baby killing socialist wannabe ways.
    OBAMA'S H1N1 VIRUS: From April 12, 2009 to April 10, 2010, CDC estimated there were 60.8 million cases (range: 43.3-89.3 million), 274,304 hospitalizations (range: 195,086-402,719), and 12,469 deaths (range: 8868-18,306) in the United States due to the (H1N1)pdm09 virus.

    As I have said before, we Christians didn't vote for Trump's deification. We voted for him because he reflects our beliefs better than the alternative. If you want to accuse Trump of lying and yet overlook the lies of Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama then you have completely discredited your point.

    As for lying, yes the Lord doesn't not like lying especially when it is meant to cause harm to others. However, He does understand that in some cases the need to lie is necessary and acceptable. Case in point.

    Then the king of Egypt said to the Hebrew midwives, one of whom was named Shiphrah and the other Puah, "When you serve as midwife to the Hebrew women and see them on the birthstool, if it is a son, you shall kill him, but if it is a daughter, she shall live." But the midwives feared God and did not do as the king of Egypt commanded them, but let the male children live. So the king of Egypt called the midwives and said to them, "Why have you done this, and let the male children live?" The midwives said to Pharaoh, "Because the Hebrew women are not like the Egyptian women, for they are vigorous and give birth before the midwife comes to them "So God dealt well with the midwives. And the people multiplied and grew very strong. And because the midwives feared God, he gave them families.
    Exodus 1:15-21

    So the moral of this story, shockey80, is just because you want something to be true doesn't make it true and spinning a yarn in ignorance allows you to knit a shawl of ignorance that you wrap yourself in.

    Learn about God before you pretend you know you understand HIm.
    Cast your burden on the Lord,
    and he will sustain you;
    he will never permit
    the righteous to be moved.
    Psalm 55:22

    This is the point at which shockey80 should have ended this post, admitting his ignorance. The rest of his post simply proves that fact.

    DU-grade Progs seem unable and/or unwilling to grasp that the Bible is not a source of magic mantras and gotcha-quotes.
