Well- said all the way through!

The ridiculous thing is when they claim it will create a "Classless society."
    It DOESN'T.
In Socialist society, there are still classes, the only difference being that now the classes and one's place in them are based on how well- connected that person is with the government.

When comes down to the basics, people like those on DU just want two things; power and control over the lives of others.

They dress it up as compassion , or something else they think makes them look like the good people, but many of them are not. They like groups like ANTIFA because they go out and do the violence they themselves don't have the guts to do. They like SJWs because they are shutting down Free Speech the way DUers wish they could. They love gun control because they see the American people as children and " don't want them running with the scissors ". And every time they said " they're voting against their own interest " what it really means is that person is voting against the DUers interest ( which they think should come before everyone else; fuck you , fuck you family, fuck your community, fuck your State, fuck your county ).

Marx wanted to make the world to look like the factory his family gave him, DUers want it now to look like some over priced, stuck coffee shop with snotty workers who think its beneath them to serve coffee to the equally snotty assholes go there who think people who work there are beneath them.

We have to remember that this is the same happy bunch that had nasty habit of spiking online polls because they dared come up with something they didn't like; most people try to learn how people were thinking, DU instead spiked to something they wanted to hear. In other words, " " I'm right and reality is wrong . ".

I also remember people like MoPaul and LadyHawk who demanded that their relatives wait on them hand&foot, and at the same time treated those same relatives like shit; MoPaul screamed at his Mother until she cried then screamed at her some more ( then went on DU and played the " VICTIM " ).

A lot of the people who like to live on DU think they should be running everything and everyone. When the fact is that a lot of them are mentally ill, or just plain assholes who couldn't even be responsible enough to change the water in gold fish bowl.

    Love, Uncle Danny.

And yet you vote for and support people who want to implement this type of government. Why is that? You would happily support whatever clown makes it out of the Democrat field, every one of whom would implement this on us in a NY second and yet you tell a story like this and why? Because Trump says mean things? That he shoots from the hip? That he's a cad? Don't tell stories like this when you will go to the polls and pull the switch for Kamala Harris or Pete Buttigig or Elizabeth Warren who, all, are unabashedly communist to the core.

I haven't voted yet for any of the current crop. The MI primary is a ways off. I'm not sure who I will vote for. Biden is showing his age, but he's the one who is closest to my views.

I vote for liberals because I am a liberal. I support the liberal side of most social issues. I want liberal justices on the supreme court and liberal judges in federal courts. I support civil rights, women's rights, legal gay marriage and adoption, and so on. I don't support Trump because he puts conservative justices and judges in power. I think his trade war with China will be disastrous in the long run for the US economy, even if it doesn't seem that way now. Protectionism might have worked in the 80s, but not now, in the world of e-commerce and so forth. His being an asshole s secondary to those concerns.

Until recently, Williamson and Gabbard were looking the least loony to me. Joe may be less extreme, but the guy's a gaffe machine and a loon - e.g. his comments about Dunkin Donuts or "Stand up, Chuck" or "clean and articulate". Classic Cringe-worthiness.

Williamson is loony in her own special way, though.

But he'd be running against Trump, who makes plenty of his own gaffes. It would make for some interesting debates. If Biden were to win the presidency, he'd likely be a one termer and who he picks as a running mate is very crucial. I could see him going outside of the circle of dems running now and picking Stacey Abrams or I could see him picking Cory Booker. Buttleig is kind of a centrist, but I don't think he has a prayer in hell of winning the general, because he is gay. But I could be wrong. Kamala Harris would be amusing to watch debate Trump, because she is such a bitch. But I think she would lose the general because she is such a bitch.

I'm more center/left than far left. I am disappointed in a couple of candidates for not sticking closer to the center, like Warren and Booker-I was probably going to vote for Booker until he took up the New Green Deal nonsense from AOC. I support environmentalism, I believe that climate change is a real issue, but the NGD is just unrealistic-just focus on clean air and clean water and the rest will follow is my way of looking at it. I think that if Warren made it to the presidency, she would probably be more centrist in office than in the campaign, mainly because she strikes me as a realist and a number cruncher at heart.

If Marianne is still in it for the MI primary, I could see her winning my state. Bernie won the 2016 primary. She has ties here, even though her former church (and mine) has faded a great deal since her time as pastor there-they lost their building and now meet at Ferndale High School. If she got her good friend Oprah to campaign for her in the city-Marianne is not afraid to go to Detroit neighborhoods, like so many candidates are (Trump went to a poor neighborhood with Dr. Carson and went to a church in a pretty poor area in the 2016 campaign). I don't see Buttleig or Warren feeling really comfortable in a Detroit neighborhood outside of the downtown/Wayne State/riverfront area. I don't see the current governor endorsing her, nor either of the senators (former Gov. Granholm might, though), nor most of the dem. congressional reps. But the recently-appointed Oakland County Executive is one of her protegees. Oakland is the 2nd biggest county in the state, and the wealthiest. It has gone blue in the last several Presidential elections. But Marianne is an ethically-challenged person in many ways. She's a prima donna-we had a volunteer summit once, for example, and she kept the thermostat at around 55 because she was having hot flashes. She went on a trip with the high school kids to Sedona, AZ (I know, my current church sends the youth group on mission trips). The volunteers/chaperones all agreed to not consume any alcohol on the trip, to set a good example for the kids. Marianne knew this, but assumed that the agreement didn't apply to her and she ordered more than one drink on the flight. When she was pastor, she was paid $120,000 a year in salary. In addition to her salary, the church paid her personal assistant's salary and benefits, even though said PA did no work for the church. The church also paid the salary of a "governess" for her then 13 year old daughter. This is a woman who is a multi-millionaire from her book sales. She tried to shake the church down for more on her way out. She still has a fan base in SE Michigan. She's still getting mostly good press at this point, but no one really sees her as a winning candidate. If she somehow got the nomination, Trump will make mincemeat out of her, unless she's got something really good on him. Marianne's been around, so you never know.
