    There doesn't seem to be a 'proper' place to post this ... unless it's to the tech forum?

    Mods, please move if needed.

    My problem is that everything works just fine as I post.

    It's 'after' where I have a problem.

    When I want to read a post, (not just mine), I have to reduce the size of the page/post to where it's almost too small to read.

    If I don't reduce the size I get a Really Long and slender column which is even harder to read!

    Why can't I enlarge the post for viewing to a normal size without what you see below happening?

    A Screen shot of a part of one of the post:
    (Stretches to about a foot or more in length.)

    What’s your device and OS?
    It's not how old you are, it's how you got here.
    It's been a long road and not all of it was paved.

    Not sure what you mean by device?

    I am on a lenovo desktop pc.

    Microsoft windows 10.

    OK, I've tried six different browsers and Firefox is the only one that renders a normal page!?

    I don't understand that at all!

    opera, edge, brave, chrome, pale moon and firefox

    Only firefox works properly!

    CU looks OK for me on Vivaldi, and I just tried Pale Moon, where it looked normal. I have an HP desktop with Win 10.

    It seems like the rendering engine thinks you have a smaller screen than you actually have. That is way the screen looks good when you are editing a message (different rendering engine) and is messed up when you in read mode. Let me poke around the settings and I'll see if there is something that jumps out at me.

    Try this
    If you look at the bottom of the page (any page) you will see a bar with a drop down box and the current skin you are using. Make sure it isn't set to Mobile - Default. Change it to something other than what it is currently set to and then view a post. This may help.

    This is well over my head, but it looks to me to be something in mrclose' settings for this forum:

    * mrclose' own testing shows that the problem is across multiple browsers, and I found that one of the browsers in which the problem was seen, Pale Moon, was OK on my computer;

    * mrclose and I have the same OS, Win 10. So the problem is not with the OS;

    * mrclose posts on several discussion sites, at least one of which uses vBulletin (Version 4.2.0); mrclose has posted there since starting this thread, and I (Traddles) did not see any reference to this problem.

    Putting all these things together, I think the problem is in mrclose' settings for this site.
