I remember in like 1998, it wasn't so hot like it is now.

I'd say, at least here in the St. Louis area, it's
been a fairly normal summer temp wise but the temps
    have stayed warm longer.

We will probably get a shit load of snow
    this winter.
May the FORCE be with you!

Wetter than most summers, set one ‘record’ high temp and two record lows last winter. Just about average.
It's not how old you are, it's how you got here.
It's been a long road and not all of it was paved.
. If you ain't havin' fun, it's your own damn fault

Seemed rather uneventful. Not too hot/cool, no excessive rain or completely dry stretches. Learned a long time ago never to listen to the farmers. They bitch about any type of weather.

It depends how old you are, if you're really old summers will be worse every year, that's my take on it because it was only a couple years ago I could sleep at night without any air conditioner running. I can't do that any more I need air conditioning and my overhead fan. I also once was able to do without air conditioning on my Truck but now I just wish I had it running again. Since I don't drive much any more I have been able to make it without repairing the air conditioning.

I'm 67 and I don't have AC. But I sleep right next to a window, so it allows me to savor every eddy of breeze. Plus it helps to have the same sleep-routine.

    It's you.

It seemed an average summer in Detroit. A few really hot days, but not too many. Not even that many days over 90 degrees. I didn't have to turn my furnace on until last weekend (that's not a fair standard, as I don't turn it on until the house temp drops below 62), so the warm weather lasted a little longer than usual. We haven't had a frost yet, though.

It was great in MO. Stayed cool longer, there were a three or four weeks of unbearable steam heat instead of 10 or 12, wetter than most. In general it was great!
