Not that we didn't know this already, but even the media across the pond can take note of his hypocrisy and reversal of Regan's policy.

He has spoken a lot about the need to ensure there is only "one President at a time" in this transition period.
But when it comes to the economy he is making sure everyone knows that person is not George Bush, and it is certainly not Ronald Reagan.

If that was the Reagan era, imagine how much spending there will be now it's over.

Reagan inherited a nation that had lost its confidence in business but he made it easier for the triumph of self-made man. I like the way he thought that someone who made his own way deserved to enjoy the fruit of his labor, and should be liberated from government regulation.

The BBC might not know this, but the Reagan era ended when George H.W. Bush took office. The man had a platform of success and instead chose to build on the policies of FDR, JFK & LBJ.

Obama's Administration is going to swell spending the way Reagan did, but without the economic boost Reaganomics helped produce. Keynesian economics never produced what Supply Side economics did, and it never will.

    Inflation is coming.

So basically, you're saying it will be a repeat of the administration that is now coming to an end?

W is laying the groundwork for Socialism...no doubt about it. His bailout of Detroit, Medicare spending....Bush failed along the lines of Clinton and his father when it comes to irresponsible Government spending.

Obama's administration however, it'll be Bush's economic screwups times 100. He's planning on spending on par with FDR....we're screwed.
