Anonymous author: Trump proposed doing away with judges multiple times

The anonymous senior administration official who wrote a New York Times op-ed critical of President Trump last year claims in a new book that the president repeatedly proposed getting rid of judges, Axios reported Monday.

“The president has proposed doing away with judges on more than one occasion,” the anonymous author reportedly wrote, claiming Trump said too many of his policies were getting stuck in legal limbo.

The author writes: "‘Can we just get rid of the judges? Let's get rid of the f---ing judges,’" Trump fumed one morning. "‘There shouldn't be any at all, really.’"

“He went a step further and asked his legal team to draft up a bill and send it to Congress to reduce the number of federal judges,” they continued in an excerpt published by Axios.

“Staff ignored the outburst and the wacky request.”

This is absolutely ridiculous. This idiot has NO CREDIBILITY to begin with but touting this only confirms that. It is however something the jack*sses would think and believe.

And then there's the truth.....he has been putting forth MANY judges and the senate has been confirming them. Why would he do that if he wanted to 'get rid of' judges?

    1. It wasn't a "wacky request""

He was serious as a heart attack.

    2. Indeed, just like President for life. He is dead serious.
Liberals are divorced from reality and they think it's great. When you live in la la land you're never wrong, it's always the other person/groups fault and you can believe what you want to believe and call it 'truth'.

Would that be the same President Trump who has had ~160 judges confirmed to Federal District, Appeals, and the Supreme Courts? With more in the confirmation process?

I have a hard time fathoming how DUpipo could be stupid enough to lap up that kind of nonsense.
    Facts don't matter to DUpipo.

It sounds more like someone who is just going off in the moment out of frustration with judges who see things differently than he does, not an actual position on whether there should be a judiciary or not.

Not all by any means. There are relatively few who are subject to “you’re fired” from the Oval Office.
It's not how old you are, it's how you got here.
It's been a long road and not all of it was paved.
