Anyone know if there is a burden of proof standard in impeachment trials?
Cuz the GOP looks like they are going to apply a criminal standard.
Liberals are divorced from reality and they think it's great. When you live in la la land you're never wrong, it's always the other person/groups fault and you can believe what you want to believe and call it 'truth'.

Why use proof and facts now? The last three years have been nothing but accusation and innuendo.

It's not a court room, so I don't know what the standard is.
In criminal court (In Michigan, at least), the standard is beyond a reasonable doubt. In Family Court (and maybe civil court, too), it is a preponderance of the evidence.
But a lot of people get caught up in the reasonable doubt standard. It doesn't mean "absolutely no doubts". It says "reasonable doubts". There's a lot of leeway in there for personal interpretation.
